Title: Study on the Improvements of Incremental Rolling Process for Spline Shaft with Round Tools based on Finite Element Method

Abstract: In this paper, a simplified model of axial incremental rolling process based on the finite element method was established to study the influences of friction conditions on the rolling loads. The results show that the lubricating condition is an important factor for the rolling loads. In order to further reduce the rolling loads, the tooth divided flow method (TDFM) was employed to improve the friction conditions between billet and rolling dies. The finite element experiment results show that the TDFM is an effective way to improve the friction conditions and to reduce the rolling loads.、制013ICMA2013 Shengdun Zhao
