Reflections on one-year study at Durham University as a CSC visiting student
Abstract
The China Scholarship Council (CSC) is an institution aiming to improve the training of creative and distinguished postgraduates and enhance the development of China’s higher education. Over the past several years, CSC has sponsored many talented Chinese students for overseas study. Miss Jingya Qi was sponsored by CSC to perform one-year research work in the Department of Engineering, Durham University. During her stay, she has worked together with Dr. Qing Wang on the heterodyne interferometric measurement system. In this presentation, she will give a brief introduction of Durham University and Department of Engineering. Then, she will give a systematic report about her research work in Durham.
